How it works

How you get paid

• £8.50 per delivery (£11.50 on opt-in long-distance jobs beyond 7 miles).
• + 15p per item above 5 in the bag.
• + 100% of any customer tip or boost, it is yours, never ours.
• Everything you spend at the till is paid back to you at the exact receipt price, usually within an hour of your receipt being checked.
• Paired orders: when two customers' orders share one trip, you deliver both and earn £7.00 per order, £14.00 for the trip.
• Zavengo's cut is a flat £3.49 per order and it never comes out of your pay.
• You pay for the shopping with your own money first (card or cash), so keep around £50 available. Bigger orders need more, and you see the estimated till spend before you accept.
• The exact pay for every job is shown before you accept it.
• These are per-job rates, not a promised hourly wage.

Use any transport

Walk, skate, cycle, drive, your choice. Your delivery radius adjusts based on your vehicle.

Insurance, what you need

You deliver as a self-employed contractor, so you arrange your own insurance. If you drive, that means hire-and-reward (or business-use) cover for deliveries. Your normal social, domestic and pleasure policy will not cover you, and driving without the right cover is an offence.

Zavengo Ltd carries £5,000,000 public liability insurance for its own operations as a business. That protects Zavengo, not you: it does not cover you, your vehicle, or your driving. We check your insurance before approving you, and again when it is due to expire.
